Welcome to Southwest Washington Wrestling Club! We are thrilled that you and your athlete are joining our team. Our club is a great place for young athletes to develop wrestling skills, strength, and confidence in a supportive environment. Please review the important checklist below to ensure your athlete is ready for their first practice.

New Parent Checklist:
Sign the Club Waiver of Liability
Every athlete must have a signed waiver on file before they can participate in practices or competitions. You can complete the waiver by following this link: Southwest Washington Wrestling Club Waiver.
Purchase a USA Wrestling Membership
All athletes are required to have an active USA Wrestling membership in order to participate. There are two membership options available:
Folkstyle Limited Membership ($25): Covers participation in folkstyle events only.
Full-Year Membership ($55): Covers all wrestling styles (Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman).

Purchase Team Gear
**TEAM GEAR PURCHASE IS NOT REQUIRED**, however a singlet is mandatory for competition. During the Fall and Winter, any singlet can be used for competition, however during the spring seasons (Freestyle and Greco Wrestling) both a red and blue singlet will be necessary.

Practice Information:
Location: Battle Ground High School
300 W Main St, Battle Ground, WA 98604
Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for check-in and warm-up.

What to Bring:
Wrestling shoes (if available)
Athletic clothing (e.g., shorts and a T-shirt)
Water bottle
Proper undergarments for practice
Boys and Girls: Must wear appropriate undergarments.
Teenage Girls: Should wear secure sports bras under their practice attire for comfort and support.
Boys: Must wear underwear under their shorts or sweats for hygiene and comfort.
